Cold Bath Street

Cold Bath Street Band are a group of improvisers based at University of Central Lancashire Preston campus. They formed in 2013 around a shared interest in improvising and playing away from commercial boundaries. Their music develops from small phrases or instructions which are used as material to build in response to or develop around.

The group have collaborated with artists from France, Morocco and China. Within their live performances, the players develop sections of sound from small given cues including musical ideas and text.
