Northern Green Gathering 2026 – Kids’ Area
We’ll soon be setting up ahead of another incredible Northern Green Gathering!!
Welcome to our Kids’ Area, a playful and creative space for children and families to explore, create, connect and unwind throughout the festival weekend.
This year we’re delighted to bring together an inspiring mix of artists, makers, musicians, storytellers and facilitators offering a colourful programme of activities for all ages.
We’re excited to host our lovely Jade from Meanwood Farm Choir this year, she will be inviting everyone to come together in song and celebration.
Expect a wonderful blend of:

Bush craft and nature connection -
Creative arts and hands-on making

Willow weaving and natural crafts

Storytelling and imaginative play

Circus skills and movement activities

Yoga, mindfulness and sensory experiences

A dedicated sensory play area for quieter moments and free play
Activities will be running:
Thursday: 2pm – 6pm
Friday: 9am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday: 9am – 6pm
The Kids’ Area will include a large marquee, outdoor activity spaces and plenty of opportunities to relax, explore and make new friends.
We hope there may be a few spontaneous workshop and performances and unexpected moments of magic popping up throughout the weekend, so keep your eyes open and your imaginations ready.
The Kids’ Area becomes a place where children and adults can slow down, connect and make beautiful festival memories together.
