Brian Stone
Brian Stone is a lively, original singer songwriter known for engaging, entertaining performances. Fun and energetic, with masses of crowd participation. His catchy, original songs strike a chord with audiences of all ages and have gained him a rapidly growing fan base. It’s that undefinable quality that sets great entertainers apart from competent musicians.”
He fronted bands in the early 1980s and again in the mid 90s but it is Brian’s solo career that has captured attention in recent years. From playing and singing around firepits, through open mics to performing on major venue and festival stages, his journey has progressed at breakneck speed. At each stage his irresistibly sing-along songs and talent for engaging with audiences has shone through and driven him to the next level.
He has now played to overflowing venues at Bearded Theory festival (3 times), opened the main stage at Something To Smile About festival, guested on the main stage at Watchet festival and played The Bandstand Stage at Beautiful Days festival and headlined that stage as part of The Fox & The Pirate with Jonny Wallis. Supporting the likes of 3 Daft Monkeys, Ferocious Dog, Leatherat and The Leylines has seen him perform venues as large as the O2, Oxford and he’s also shared stages with The Barsteward Sons of Val Doonican, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, Doozer McDooze, Ghosts of Men, Les Carter, Jake Martin, The Sweetchunks Band and many more at gigs large and small. Abroad he has performed in Spain, Thailand and Cambodia.
